3rd Northern Ireland Barista Championship

Jump on Board and get your entry in for the Northern Ireland Barista Championship to be organised again by Northern Ireland's Coffee Supremo and dedicated SCAE member Hugh Gilmartin.

We are thrilled to invite you to take part in the third Speciality Coffee Association of Europe's Northern Ireland Barista Championship with the winner going forward to the UK Finals in Birmingham on 20th May.

This top class event is the only independent championship of its kind and, with an unprecedented number of Baristas set to take part this year, (last year saw an 83% increase in participants from 2002) - we expect the showcase competition to be the most successful yet.

This year’s prize for the UK champion comprises the most exciting package to date. The winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the World Championship in Trieste courtesy of Fracino, individual coaching from an expert panel and a complimentary week-long trip to Brazil to visit farms of members of the BSCA (Brazil Speciality Coffee Association).

This fast moving, colourful celebration of excellence in coffee offers a tremendous opportunity to compete alongside Britain’s top class baristas.
